Environmental Services

Optimizing Assets and Well-Being

Manage environmental issues to maximize the long-term profitability of real estate assets and elevate human well-being. At a time when sustainability and health and wellness are top of mind for owners and occupiers, expertise is essential to identify and mitigate environmental concerns and uphold accepted standards. Environmental Asset Services, Inc. (EASI), a wholly-owned TCC subsidiary, provides specialized environmental services to preserve and enhance property value for developers, owners and asset/property managers, and quality of life for occupiers. EASI manages all aspects of environmental projects on behalf of its clients and solves for issues leveraging our expertise and key relationships with consultants and legal advisors.

Sustainability

Partner with a leader that embraces a holistic approach to sustainability, including carbon reduction, positive economic impacts, human wellness, community benefits, green transportation, and responsible governance.

Brownfield Acquisitions & Development (BAD)

EASI helps owners and investors address brownfield site challenges, including site planning, phasing, use, and constructability risk. We review and summarize key documentation, evaluate and position properties for disposition, negotiate with regulatory agencies, manage due diligence processes, procure insurance policies, and create indemnity and/or access and liability agreements.

Environmental Project Management (EPM)

Owners and investors need highly trained, experienced personnel to manage site assessments, investigations, abatements and remediations in an efficient and cost-effective manner. We offer subsurface investigation, site remediation, hazardous waste management and/or disposal, indoor air quality assessment, major mold abatement and retrofit, and a full suite of asbestos-related services.

Tenant Inspection Program (TIP)

To preserve asset value, owners must ensure occupiers maintain environmental best practices and observe lease provisions. Our Tenant Inspection Program (TIP) identifies and resolves concerns before they become costly cleanups. We inspect hundreds of millions of square feet for the largest institutional owners in North America. We document these efforts for future sales and refinancing, and help owners allocate costs to tenants.
